About INTPART
The INTPART scheme was established as a follow-up to the Long-Term Plan for Research and Higher Education and efforts to develop more world-leading academic environments in Norway. The scheme will also follow up the Panorama Strategy – Strategy for cooperation on research and higher education.
The INTPART program also aims to address the following secondary goals:
Long-term international partnerships that enhance the quality of higher education and research in Norway.
Strong links between higher education and research within the frameworks of the partnerships.
Cooperation with the business and public sectors to enhance quality and relevance within the frameworks of the partnerships, where relevant.
SoMaT is the only social science project from the final 7 approved applications. SoMaT has a wide-reaching dissemination strategy targeting the five partner universities, their students, researchers, the wider academic community that take part in the project, and the public. By engaging with public and private organizations through the winter and PhD schools, we also disseminate beyond our universities.
Story behinds our logo - "Harmony"
The logo theme "Harmony" idea was initiated by Roger A. Søraa. Chinese, Korean, and Japanese characters: 和, 화, わ gather together like a rising sun climbing to the top of a mountain nestled in a blue Norwegian fjord. The Norwegian "Harmoni" is handwritten by our Head of the NTNU KULT department: Guro Korsnes Kristensen.
We, NTNU bring different cultural groups together from Asia to make our team compact and achieve common goals in harmony.
